If an issue arises that’s the result of our labor or workmanship, we’ll make it right. Labor coverage is separate from any manufacturer warranty and applies to the services we performed during your project.

What Isn't Covered?

Labor warranty does not cover product defects (that’s the manufacturer’s role), damage from misuse or neglect, third-party alterations or repairs, or conditions outside normal operation (e.g., storms, flooding, or site changes). Any additional project-specific exclusions will be listed in your proposal/closeout documents.

Manufacturer terms apply; we’ll link each brand’s official policy so you always have the most accurate, up-to-date information.

Most products include a limited manufacturer warranty, and certain items may qualify for extended coverage when installed by a professional dealer. Automatic Pool Covers (APC) delivers safety and convenience, supported by robust, product-specific warranties. Coverage is designed to protect against defects in materials and craftsmanship, with clear owner care guidelines to keep everything in top shape. We coordinate claims through the appropriate channel so you can get back to enjoying the water.

For select components supplied through Global (via CDI), you’ll receive manufacturer warranties that match the product category—cleanly documented and honored through the distributor network. We’ll identify the correct policy for your item, outline care/usage expectations, and handle the submission process with CDI when needed.

Per VERSA-LOK’s website, the manufacturer does not provide a standard product warranty and expressly disclaims warranties (including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose). Accordingly, we do not offer a product warranty on VERSA-LOK materials. Our coverage is limited to our craftsmanship: a 3-year labor warranty on the installation we perform. Product/material issues fall outside our warranty; where applicable, please refer to the original seller or distributor’s terms. Proper base, drainage, and maintenance are required to preserve our labor coverage.

Unilock offers a Transferable Lifetime Guarantee on the structural integrity of its residential paving stones, slabs, and retaining wall units (and, in some materials/programs, natural stone). Products installed and maintained to Unilock guidelines and used under normal wear are replaced at no cost if deemed defective; registration is required (within ~60 days), replacement labor is not included, and color matching isn’t guaranteed. This is a manufacturer product guarantee; any workmanship issues are covered by the installer’s labor warranty.

Hydropool’s North American limited guarantee typically covers the shell structure for 10 years, the interior acrylic surface for 5 years, and equipment & plumbing for 3 years; select accessories/systems carry 1-year coverage. Warranty applies to the original purchaser, requires proper water chemistry, and excludes damage from freezing, misuse, or non-approved alterations; labor for difficult access and certain items may be chargeable. Color match isn’t guaranteed, and the owner is responsible for access/disassembly where needed.

Maple Spas typically offer a 5-year warranty on the shell and frame and a 3-year warranty on electronics and pumps, though specific terms can vary by model and dealer. For example, the Maple Hot Tub M-620 features a 5-year shell/frame and 3-year electronics/pumps warranty. To get precise details for your specific hot tub, it is best to check the warranty document that came with your spa or contact the retailer directly.

Be Well commonly backs shell/tank tightness up to 10 years, with parts & labor coverage around 2–3 years depending on series; registration is available, and correct water chemistry is mandatory—tri-chlor is prohibited and voids warranty. Exact durations can vary by model and market, so we’ll point you to the official terms and assist with documentation if a claim is needed. The warranty must be registered with Be Well Canada Spa, often within 30 days of delivery, to be effective.

Okeanos publishes a lifetime structural leak warranty to the original retail purchaser and a 10-year gelcoat/blister (osmosis) surface warranty; factory-installed penetrations are typically covered 2 years. Coverage requires approved installation, keeping the pool full of water, and maintaining documented water chemistry within the stated ranges. Installation workmanship is expressly not covered by the manufacturer; many items (drainage, hydrostatic pressure, cosmetic color variation, removal/reinstall costs) are excluded. We’ll help confirm eligibility and gather the required documentation for claims.

Leisure offers a Lifetime Structural Warranty (no less than 35 years) that also covers structural osmosis, plus a 10-year surface (pigmentation) warranty on the pool shell. Registration is required (within 6 months of delivery), and exclusions include chemical imbalance, improper installation, emptying the pool below the skimmer/30% threshold without consent, and abnormal use. Manufacturer coverage applies to the product, while installation/labor falls under the installer’s terms.

*Manufacturer Coverage vs. Labor Charges


Manufacturer warranties generally cover defects in materials and workmanship for the product itself. Unless expressly stated by the manufacturer, labor for diagnosis, removal, reinstallation, and related services is not included or may be only partially covered. As a result, our standard labor rates, trip charges, and scheduling fees may apply. Please contact us for current rates and coverage details.

Service Fees & Non-Covered Items


Where manufacturer coverage does not fully apply, the customer is responsible for diagnostic fees, travel/time-on-site, removal and reinstallation, freight/shipping, water balancing/chemicals, consumables, firmware updates, and coordination with third parties. After-hours or expedited service may incur premium rates. We will provide an estimate for any non-covered work before proceeding.

Conditions, Exclusions & Owner Responsibilities


Coverage does not apply to damage arising from misuse, neglect, improper maintenance, owner-performed or third-party alterations/repairs, environmental events (e.g., flooding, storms), normal wear and tear, or site conditions outside specifications. For systems that require seasonal procedures (e.g., irrigation winterization when applicable), failure to follow required maintenance voids labor coverage. Proof of purchase/installation and, where required, product registration may be necessary to obtain manufacturer benefits.

Claims & Determinations


We will assist in identifying whether an issue is likely labor-related (our workmanship) or product-related (manufacturer). Approval or denial of manufacturer claims is at the manufacturer’s discretion. If a claim is denied or only partially approved, the customer is responsible for any remaining labor or associated fees. We may require pre-authorization or a deposit for non-covered work.

Limits & Governing Terms


To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with services is limited to the amount paid to us for the specific service at issue; we are not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages. This page is provided for convenience only. If there is any conflict, the signed proposal/contract, invoice terms, and the manufacturer’s published warranty govern. We may update these terms from time to time without prior notice.
