THE PERFECT AMBIANCE

The two-tier design is the structural backbone of this project, connecting the elevated deck to the expansive lower patio through a unified aesthetic language. The upper deck is perfectly tied into the home’s architecture, creating a natural extension of the interior living space. Clean white railings, structural columns, and the open stair design help maintain visibility and openness between levels. Beneath the deck, the covered outdoor kitchen becomes a fully functional room of its own—protected from the elements yet completely connected to the yard and entertainment zones.

ILLUMINATED OUTDOOR KITCHEN

The illuminated lower-level kitchen and bar area demonstrate the craftsmanship Superior is known for. The built-in grill, ample counter space, and bar seating create a gathering point that remains usable in all weather thanks to the overhead coverage. The soft under-lighting highlights the stonework and adds warmth to the space, turning it into a glowing focal point after sunset. The design balances form and function: the materials provide durability for Minnesota’s climate while offering a clean, modern aesthetic that elevates the entire backyard.

PRECISION INSTALLATION

The paver layout reflects intentional zoning for different uses—dining, cooking, lounging, and fireside relaxation. Precision cuts, tight joint lines, and the smooth geometric transitions showcase Superior’s expert installation team at their best. In the far lounge area, the furniture arrangement sits effortlessly within a perfectly dimensioned paver footprint, creating a conversational and relaxed atmosphere. Every surface feels anchored, level, and architecturally consistent, reinforcing both beauty and long-term durability.

EXPERTLY INSTALLED

The perimeter lighting is one of the quiet heroes of this project. Integrated column fixtures cast a soft glow across the plant beds, accentuating textures and adding depth to the landscape. The low retaining edge creates a gentle grade transition while providing enough height for lighting and planting opportunities without feeling intrusive. The curved bed line softens the architecture and draws the eye across the space, while the Hydrangeas, ornamental grasses, and structured shrubs bring seasonal interest and balance to the crisp hardscape geometry.
